We are proud to announce the publication of an article dedicated to our medical equipment, Laserobaria 2.0_S. Publication on WNP.pl (publisher of rynekzdrowia.pl). This article is the honoring of many years of work of scientists, engineers, and medical staff involved in the development of this innovative technology. The WNP.pl editorial team indicates that Inventmed, founded in 2016, has had successful years of intensive research and development work on Laserobaria – an innovative medical device that revolutionizes wound therapy. A team of scientists and engineers, supported by many years of experience of Prof. Aleksander Sieroń, MD, H.C. mult., constructed a device that uses advanced technologies to accelerate wound healing.
The article mentions that one of the company’s main achievements was the distinction during the European Economic Congress Startup Challenge 2023, which confirms the effectiveness and potential of Laserobaria. The awards received and first places won in competitions such as Mother & Child Start-up Challenge or the Innovator of Silesia (Innowator Śląska 2023) are proof of Inventmed’s significant contribution to the development of medicine.
After a conversation with the CEO of Inventmed, Michał Dziadek, the editorial team concludes that the biggest challenge for the company is to ensure patients’ access to Laserobaria therapy through reimbursement of treatment by the National Health Fund. The number of amputations in Poland remains too high, especially compared to other countries, highlighting the urgent need to introduce effective alternative therapeutic methods.
Striving for reimbursement of therapy is not only a step towards improving health care, but also a chance to avoid suffering and expensive procedures related to amputations.
