We proudly announce the implementation of Laserobaria 2.0_S at PodoMed in Lubin, Poland. A new stage in wound treatment begins at the facility, with nurse Ms. Marta Leśnik playing a crucial role in this process. PodoMed – Lower Silesian Podological and Diabetological Center (Dolnośląskie Centrum Podologiczno-Diabetologiczne PodoMed) focuses on a holistic approach to the patient and the wound healing process.

Ms. Marta Leśnik consistently enhances her skills and knowledge by participating in training sessions and industry conferences. Her dedication to continuous development allows for the introduction of new treatment methods, which is particularly crucial in the field of nursing.

Scientific article on Laserobaria 2.0_S use in a group of 52 patients published in “Acta Angiologica “.

Another publication has appeared in a scientific journal regarding the possibility of using Laserobaria 2.0_S. This time it is a scientific article in the official journal of the Polish Angiological Society, and the Polish Society for Vascular Surgery “Acta Angiologica”. This periodical is a quarterly publication in which there are publications by angiologists and vascular surgeons, as well as other doctors describing their experiences related to the treatment of vascular diseases.

IN THE WOUND TREATMENT FORUM MAGAZINE APPEARED AN ARTICLE ABOUT HOLISTIC WOUND TREATMENT USING LASEROBARIA 2.0_S.

We are pleased to announce that in the Wound Treatment Forum magazine, a publication describing the acting of Laserobaria 2.0_S in the context of a holistic approach to the treatment of chronic wounds (WOUND TREATMENT FORUM 2023;4(2):57) has appeared. Thanks to the use of standard treatment methods supplemented with the action of physical factors available in the Laserobaria 2.0_S device, the treatment effect is accelerated and increased.

International Working Group on the Diabetic Foot – IWGDF

Topical oxygen therapy is available in Laserobaria 2.0_S. You may be interested to know that the method of topical oxygen therapy has been included in the guidelines for the treatment of conditions such as diabetic foot (diabetic foot syndrome). In a lecture given at the VI Wound Treatment Forum in September 2023 in Zakopane, the updated guidelines of the International Working Group on the Diabetic Foot Group on the Diabetic Foot (IWGDF) were discussed by Przemysław Lipiński, MD. The recommendations included topical oxygen therapy as an adjunctive for standard treatment of diabetic foot ulcers. Topical oxygen therapy is one of the therapeutic agents available in the Laserobaria 2.0_S device. The device is available in several locations in Poland, including the facility led by Lipiński, MD – ArgoMed in Łódź, Poland.

Laserbarii 2.0_S during the 6th Wound Healing Forum – a lecture by Prof. Alexander Sieronia, MD, “Application of laserbarii in the treatment of hard-to-heal wounds”

During the meeting of specialists at the VI Wound Treatment Forum 2023, there was a lot of talk about the use of Laserobaria 2.0_S as an adjunctive therapy for wound treatment. The program also included a lecture by Prof. Aleksander Sieroń, MD, who spoke about the use of the method in the treatment of difficult-to-heal wounds. The professor discussed the validity of using individual therapeutic methods, such as topical oxygen therapy, ozone therapy, magnetic field therapy, red light, and UV light therapy. The professor showed the benefits and specificity of the use of individual factors, focusing on their properties and mechanisms of influence. He also indicated what effects should be expected from each stage of wound treatment. Congratulations on an interesting and substantive lecture!

Last week we had the opportunity to visit the Copernicus Memorial Hospital in Lodz, Poland. This time, the Laserobaria 2.0_S device will be available to patients at the Department of Vascular, General, and Oncological Surgery with the Sub-Department of Videoscopic Surgery, where the head of the department is Michał Pająk, MD. We hope for long-term cooperation and the prospect of shared development.

We have already finished the conference of the VI Wound Treatment Forum in Zakopane, which took place in September 2023.
