We are pleased to announce a new publication on MedOnet about the Laserobaria technology, which offers hope to diabetes patients. The article, “Diabetic Foot. A Revolutionary Polish Discovery Means Fewer Amputations” highlights the significance of this method.
Laserobaria uses a synergistic approach with different therapeutic factors to treat hard-to-heal wounds. Approximately 250,000 people in Poland struggle with diabetic foot, and an additional 200,000 are at risk. Every year, several thousand lower limb amputations occur due to diabetic wounds.
Certified Technology
Laserobaria has achieved certification as a Class IIa medical device and is already implemented in several Polish hospitals, helping patients avoid amputations and improving their quality of life.
Application in Treatment
Laserobaria is particularly useful for treating diabetic foot and can also be used for edema and neurological disorders.
Awards and Implementations
The technology has been implemented in hospitals across Częstochowa, Katowice, Wrocław, Łódź, Lublin, Piotrków Trybunalski, and Olsztyn. The creators have won several awards, including a gold medal at the Brussels Innova World Invention Fair.
We are proud that medical portals recognize our potential and appreciate the achievements of Polish scientists.
