In a lecture given at the VI Wound Treatment Forum in September 2023 in Zakopane, the updated guidelines of the International Working Group on the Diabetic Foot Group on the Diabetic Foot (IWGDF) were discussed by Przemysław Lipiński, MD. The recommendations included topical oxygen therapy as an adjunctive for standard treatment of diabetic foot ulcers.
